The food always tastes great here !. In addition, nice conditions and relaxed atmosphere.
Great food and nice service or owner. Always delicious. Even if it is only available to take away, it is still very tasty.
Very good food and friendly service. My girlfriend and I love to go there :)
Very tasty .... pleasant atmosphere, nice climate and staff👍
Great Indian Restaurant! High-quality dishes and a very friendly boss who runs the shop with enthusiasm and know-how!
Just delicious.
Fantastically good Indian cuisine! Rarely found anything comparable in this quality!
I went with three other friends today to tandoori restaurant in Marburg today. Balti gosht was good. However, when we didn’t like the malai kofta and mentioned it to the server, he got offended and said he doesn’t speak English so just speak in german! One of us did speak to him in German and yet he kept arguing that it is how malai kofta is made and it is unfortunate if we didn’t like it. It was disrespectful. One should take criticism as well as they take praise. Reply to the owner, Yes it is sad how you are unable to take criticism. The fact that I said good to a dish (balti gosht) and then mentioned that malai kofta was not up to the mark is proof in itself that I am giving an honest opinion. I feel sorry for you that you don’t have the courage to take it in good spirit and improve upon your dish. Moreover, yes, it is not required to speak English in a restaurant but the way your server spoke was disrespectful and a guest should not be made to feel that way. Lastly, the friend you’re talking about who didn’t understand the german menu is the friend who is german and spoke to your waiter in german aswell so if she didn’t understand the menu then I don’t know who will!
We have been here many times and the food tastes like India. Especially the typical vegetarian recipes. The cook probably still changes every six months with another cook who then drives home. In April it was not so tasty, in October it was delicious again. We therefore recommend the winter half. The Lassi drink is very tasty, but also very filling.
The food is pretty bland and the server (a guy) is pretty rude to the customers. Gave a critic on one of dishes we ordered, and the guy didn't take it good. Do not recommend at all. In response to the owner: Serving Mandel curry and telling us it's a Cashew curry! I would say your whole Menu is a big lie! Learn to take criticism! It might improve your food quality!
WORST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN MARBURG. Variety- very poor. Taste- wouldn't wish it on my enemies even. Service- abysmal One of the worst "indian" restaurants that i have been to in a pretty long while. We ordered 4 different "curries" (if you can call them that), but ended up having 3 different curries with the same base. The fourth one (malai kofta) was tasting less like the original dish and when complained about it, the server 'got offended' and said that its made with a different recipe. I would only go there again if i have been hog tied and delivered there.
Faster services, very good appetite, cheaper, hygiene, toilet clean, punctual, customer respect
Always delicious for years.
Very fresh food, best ingredients. Really the best Indian I have ever visited.
Food was ok but didn't knock me off my feet and the toilets are not that great that's why 3 *
Very good food, reasonably priced. If the boss serves also very good service. Deduction due to ambience and toilets.
Super delicious food and friendly service. Best to reserve.
Very delicious Indian food! The restaurant is very popular. We were lucky enough to get one of the last free tables without a reservation. Portions are really big. One point deduction, because you can not exchange the Naan for the rice, but have to pay extra.
Very good Indian food! Best in the region, even though i can’t eat Coriander, i actually enjoyed the food and drinks.
Friendly service, super delicious food that you don't have to wait long for. The location is good too. Very satisfied.
Nice service, delicious vegan-friendly Indian food.
Great food. Super nice staff, took us in between despite full reservation. Delicious, good and highly recommended. The merlot is also very tasty
The food was fresh and delicious! Prices are moderate. The service was also very courteous and very nice :) A place that we will certainly visit more often!
Tandoori platter is worth trying
My curry was way too salty.
Always very fragrant and flavorful food, friendly service
I was here after a long time. We had a group of 22 and it was managed well. Make sure you reserve your spot. The service was good and food was yummy. For some it was little spicy but most of us enjoyed it. Recommend- mutton korma, and murgh curry.
Best Indian food but a bit costly
The chef is an Afghani guy. The indian dishesh are cooked according to German people's taste. So, basically it's not 100% authentic but if you want to enjoy tasty Indian dishes then it's a right place in Marburg.
Decent ambiemce, cordial staff , reasonably priced, credit card cannot be used, halal food not available
Best indian food in Marburg
Nice cozy Indian restaurant. Food quality very good. Highly recommended.
Best food in Marburg. Full of flavors. Great service.
Good Food Good Price... Good Beer. The service was very courteous but unorganized. No worries though... I will still be happy too eat here again. 😊
Really nice food available in middle of Germany. Hotel Interior gives further more india touch with typical staues, musical instrument displayed. Typical Indian food, with Indian beers are available here. No credit cards
Authentic Indian food. Dessert lovers try Gulab Jamoon
Marburg has limited options when it comes to indian restaurants. Tandoori is decorated inside like a traditional restaurant. The choice of dishes is good and a choice of different types of meat is offered. Make sure to order the traditional mixed pickles on the side to add a nice sour flavor if you like that. The icecream they have is very special and spiced to taste oriental and rich of flavor. I recommend it
Very good food and friendly staff. Would recommend!
The food in the tandoori is delicious and served in small bowls, which is very attractive. I recommend for the main course a few side dishes and one of the homemade lassis to try :). You do not usually have to wait long for the food. The shop is very cozy. At peak times you should book a table especially at the weekend.
1st Indian experience. We had Biryani which was simply delicious. The waitress was really nice as well.
My impression was perhaps sullied by my inattentive server. Will give them one more try.
